- Choux pastry:
- 'pâte à choux'
INGREDIENTS:
- 2,5dl water
- 125gr flour
- 4 eggs
- 80gr unsalted butter
- pinch of salt
- 16gr vanillasugar
- In a large sauce pan add the water, butter,
salt, vanilla sugar.
- Place on a medium heat and bring to boiling
point.
- Add the flour and mix it all together.
- Remove from heat.
- Add one egg at a time
and mix it with a wooden spoon until the egg is completely
mixed with the rest.
- Use your muscles, stir well!
- Repeat untill all eggs are used.
- The Pâte à choux is ready for usage.
TOOLS NEEDED:
- Wooden spoon
- Large saucepan
- Muscles!
TIPS & TRICKS:
- Always measure the ingedients as described.
- Carefully add one egg
at a time.
- It might look blurry when adding one egg,
but keep on mixing, it will get better.
- Do not add sugar when using it for savory
dishes.
